50cl Colonsay Brammer Aperitif

31% ABV

Brammer - noun; a term of approbation; an excellent specimen of its type

According to the Dictionary of the Scots Language, the word Brammer is derived from the Hindu god Brahma, the first God in the Hindu triumvirate, and is of relatively recent origin. It is used to describe something that is very good, and is most widely used throughout the West coast.

How appropriate then for this delicate blend of our award winning Colonsay Bramble liqueur and Amer a classic French apéritif. Amer is from the French meaning ‘bitter’ and is flavoured with Orange and Gentian Root, and makes a fabulous partner with the slightly sweeter flavour of Bramble (aka Blackberry). Apéritifs are traditional drunk at the beginning of a meal.

Colonsay Brammer is best served neat over ice, or, if you prefer bubbles, with soda, or lemonade for a sweeter, longer drink. In the summer, it is also a fabulous alternative to Pimm’s.

Deliveries are sent by Royal Mail, we can arrange a courier to deliver large orders if you contact us via info@wildthymespirits.com or telephone 01951 200082. We cannot deliver to PO Boxes. International orders will be delivered by an international courier.
